1. What happened?
Your Microsoft 365 email password was changed today.
After changing the password, Microsoft may ask you to verify your identity using an Authenticator App or another security method.
This is part of Microsoft’s security protection to prevent unauthorized access.

An Authenticator App is a security app installed on your mobile phone.
It helps confirm that the person logging in is really you.
The most common one is:
